I teach the fiddle from a beginner up to a more intermediate and advanced standard. So whether you’re new to the instrument, would like to expand your repertoire of tunes to have more to play in sessions, or are a classic player looking to learn/perfect traditional ornamentation or fiddle techniques, get in touch now.
It’s ideal to learn traditional tunes by ear, particularly if you’d like to join in with sessions one day. I send a recording of the tune played slow & to speed for you to work along with after each lesson, but I can also provide sheet music too.
If you’re more of a beginner and would like to learn the basics it can be beneficial to also work on scales and process through a workbook of exercises in addition to learning tunes, but we can tailor lessons based on what you’re looking to achieve.
